As the plane descended into Hanoi, I was greeted by a tapestry of lights and an energy that felt distinctly vibrant. Here I am, in Vietnam - a surprise journey chosen especially to honor my incredible followers from this beautiful country who've shown unwavering support on TikTok.

Hanoi feels like a beautiful blend of nostalgia and novelty. The city, which has stood as a witness to numerous epochs, now stands as a testament to the resilience and dynamism of Vietnam. As I tread the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, each turn seems like a gateway into another era. Antique shops stand proudly next to contemporary boutiques, and temples offer tranquility amidst the bustling marketplaces.

But the heart and soul of Hanoi? Its street food! From tantalizing bowls of 'Phở' to the crispy delights of 'Bánh Xèo', each dish tells a story, each flavor carries a legacy. Every hawker, with their cart or makeshift stall, is a custodian of traditions, passing down recipes that have survived and thrived through generations. As I savor each bite, I'm learning not just the taste of Hanoi, but its history, its struggles, and its triumphs.
